Provides up to $100,000 annually based on eligible charitable gaming proceeds. It supports licensed activities such as bingo, raffles, and poker tournaments.

Eligibility

  • The organization must be a charitable or religious organization.
  • The organization must be licensed by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) or an Indigenous Gaming Regulator (IGR) under section 207(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
  • The organization must conduct eligible charitable gaming events and submit the required financial reports under the licence terms and conditions.

How to apply

Step 1: Obtain charitable gaming licence
  • Qualify for a charitable gaming licence issued by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) or an Indigenous Gaming Regulator (IGR) under section 207(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
Step 2: Conduct eligible gaming event
  • Run the charitable gaming event under the issued licence (e.g., bingo, breakopen, raffles, Texas Hold’em Poker Tournaments, Monte Carlo Events).
Step 3: Submit required financial reports
  • Submit financial reports as required by the terms and conditions of the charitable gaming licence.
