Eligibility

The applicant must be a legally registered not-for-profit Canadian organization.
For charitable contributions/donations, the applicant must be a Registered Charity with a Canada Revenue Agency registration number.
The program/activity must align with Merck Canada’s priority areas (health care, science education, and related community-based charitable initiatives).
For independent grants, the supported activity must be independent, with no involvement or participation by Merck Canada.
For independent grants, Merck Canada must receive nothing in return for the funding.
