- Submit a one- to two-page Letter of Inquiry by email to info@charisfoundation.ca.
- Include “LOI: [Your Organization Name]” in the email subject line.
Processing and Agreement
- All Letters of Inquiry are reviewed by The Charis Foundation.
- Following review, organizations are either invited to submit a full grant proposal or notified that their request has not been selected for further consideration.
- If the LOI is approved for the next stage, the organization is contacted directly with detailed instructions on the next steps.
Additional information
- There are two granting cycles each year.
- The Spring 2026 cycle is closed.
- Fall 2026 Letters of Inquiry are accepted from June 1 to July 31, 2026.
- Board decisions are expected in mid-October 2026.
