Who is eligible?
- Professional artists
- Artists with more than 10 years of practice
- Ontario-based artists
- Artists in OAC-supported disciplines
Who is not eligible
- Artists with 10 years or less of professional practice
- Ad hoc groups, collectives, and organizations
- Arts administrators, managers, producers, presenters, and publishers
- Post-secondary educators and researchers eligible for SSHRC funding
- College or university students
Eligible expenses
- Artist fee for the applicant
- Consultant or specialist fees
- Studio, workspace, and equipment rental
- Applicant travel, accommodation, and per diem
- Project supplies, archive access, residency fees, and visa fees
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Creating, producing, presenting, touring, exhibiting, distributing, rehearsing, or publishing artwork
- Mentorships, master classes, private lessons, and coaching
- Travel for anyone other than the applicant
- Major capital costs, including buildings and major equipment

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed after submission in Nova
- Results are communicated about four and a half months after the deadline
