Who is eligible?

  • Organizations that are not qualified donees or otherwise eligible under CRA rules
  • Applicants without a governing-body submission or required permission from a qualified donee

  • Deficits, mortgages, or debt repayment
  • Retroactive funding
  • Sectarian, religious, or political purposes

How to apply

  • Submit a Letter of Intent through the online granting portal.
  • If you want to submit more than one LOI from the same organization, click on “Applied” and submit a second LOI.

Processing and Agreement

  • Funding decisions also consider balance across causes, regions, and beneficiaries in Nova Scotia.
  • Successful applicants are notified in early December 2025.
