Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
  • Large enterprises and industries
  • Universities
  • Research organizations
  • Others

Selection criteria

  • Preference will be given to SMEs with a minimum of 15 full-time equivalent employees and at least $500,000 CAD in annual revenue.
  • Preference will be given to SMEs with previous experience in commercializing technology for domestic or international markets.
  • Preference will be given to SMEs with the capacity and interest to co-develop technology with foreign partners.
  • Preference will be given to SMEs with sufficient working capital and human resources to undertake a multi-year research and development collaboration and commercialize the results.

Additional information

  • Canadian organizations are encouraged to join CELTIC-NEXT consortiums and form Team Canada sub-consortiums within their projects.
