Overview of the AI Expertise Program program
The AI Expertise Program, a CDPQ initiative, supports Québec companies in leveraging technological innovations and artificial intelligence to enhance productivity through a two-step approach involving an Innovation Sprint and a Project Plan. It focuses on activities related to automation, robotization, and the digitization of business processes, providing tailored support without specifying a maximum funding amount.
Eligible projects & activities
- Innovation Sprint workshops to identify operational issues and opportunities.
- Generation of solutions such as automation, robotization, and digitization.
- Prioritization of projects based on potential impact and required effort.
- Development of a project plan converting prioritized ideas into executable projects.
- Creation of technical proposals and management plans for AI solutions.
- Analysis of the project's return on investment (ROI).
Eligibility criteria of the AI Expertise Program program
- Minimum sales of $25 million.
- Headquarters located in Québec.
- Operational and leadership team availability during the program roll-out period (April to June).
- The company's capacity to invest in an innovation project.
- The potential impact on the company’s productivity.
