Selection criteria

  • Grant alignment with the church mission and the objectives of the grants program
  • Application quality, including clear objectives, a workable ministry plan, measurable benchmarks, community impact, self-sustainability, reporting, and financial feasibility
  • Investment in people through training and equipping leaders and volunteers
  • Kingdom collaboration with a partner church or organization

How to apply

  • Review the application information and the What You Need to Begin document before starting.
  • Discuss the specific questions with the committee and church board.
  • Complete the Application Resolution with the congregation.
  • Request an endorsement letter from the association.
  • Submit the completed application and ensure the church resolution, financial statements, and association letter are received by the deadline.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed and adjudicated based on four criteria: grant alignment, application quality, investment in people, and kingdom collaboration.
  • Successful applicants must submit progress reports every 6 months.
  • Successful applicants must submit financial reports every 12 months.
  • Successful applicants must submit articles for publication every 12 months.

Additional information

  • Applications must be received by the spring or fall deadline for consideration in the current intake.
  • The church application is not complete until the church resolution, financial statements, and association letter are received.
  • Applications may be saved and returned to by copying the application link.
  • Successful applicants must submit progress reports, financial reports, and articles for publication on a set schedule.
