Activities funded
- New ministry projects designed to reach people not currently connecting with the church.
- Initiatives that increase lay leadership and participation within a parish.
- Innovation-focused projects where the parish identifies specific learning goals.
Examples of admissible projects:

Eligibility
- The project must be a new ministry initiative led by a parish.
- The project must be designed to reach people not currently connecting with the church (unchurched, dechurched, or drifted away).
- The project must be designed to increase lay engagement through leadership and/or participation.
- The parish must be able to identify what it wants to learn through the initiative.

How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare project pitch and application
- Define the new ministry project and its innovation focus.
- Identify what the parish wants to learn through the initiative.
- Step 2: Submit to PEMG
- Send the application to the Project Enabling and Monitoring Group (PEMG).
- Step 3: Pitch to PEMG
- Present the project to PEMG for its consideration and comment.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are received by the Project Enabling and Monitoring Group (PEMG).
- Applicants are invited to pitch their projects to PEMG for consideration and comment.
Additional information
- Projects funded are intended to be larger than Reach-funded initiatives and smaller than Stretch-funded initiatives.
- Total program funding is set at $300,000 over two years (2023–2025).
