- Participating jurisdictions in Ontario, including Brant, Bruce, Durham, Elgin, Essex, Windsor, Grey, Haldimand, Hastings, Huron, Kent, Lambton, Lanark, Leeds and Grenville, Lincoln, Middlesex, London, Niagara South, Norfolk, Northumberland and Newcastle, Oxford, Perth, Renfrew, Simcoe, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, Waterloo, Wellington, Wentworth, Hamilton, York, East York, Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, Toronto, City of York, and York Region.
Processing and Agreement
- Schools forward candidate information and transcripts to the director of education.
- Directors of education review candidates and send recommendations to the Ministry.
- If students from more than one board are eligible, all involved directors must sign the recommendations.
- After eligibility is confirmed, award cheques are sent to the directors of education.
Additional information
- Scholarships are divided among the top three students in each jurisdiction.
- If two or more students have the same standing, the Ministry decides how funds are distributed.
- Schools must send candidate names, standings, and Ontario Student Transcripts to the director of education.
- Directors of education submit recommendations and transcripts to the Ministry of Education.
