Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Businesses that participate in one of the AGRI programs: AgriStability, Agri-Québec Plus, AgriInvest and Agri-Québec.

Eligible expenses

  • Purchases of fossil fuels such as diesel, gasoline, natural gas and propane.
  • Fuel expenses reported under Heating and drying.
  • Fuel expenses reported under Machinery (gasoline, fuel, diesel, oil).

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Any fuel expense included in a global expense or under another heading will not be compensated.

How to apply

  • No action is required on the part of the business.
  • Any business that participates in one of the AGRI programs, has submitted a financial data declaration for the eligible participation year and meets the eligibility criteria will automatically be enrolled in the Program.

Processing and Agreement

  • No action is required on the part of the business.
  • Any business that participates in one of the AGRI programs, has submitted a financial data declaration for the eligible participation year and meets the eligibility criteria will automatically be enrolled in the Program.
  • Businesses eligible for a payment will receive a letter in each payment year.
  • Financial assistance is paid after each business’s eligible fuel expenses have been established as of June 1 of each year.
  • In the event of a transfer of protection and participation in the AGRI programs registered by FADQ before June 1 of each payment year, the financial assistance will be paid to the buyer, except in the case of a partial dissolution of the business where the seller continues to operate.
  • The amount paid may be revised by FADQ and may have to be repaid if it results from false, misleading or erroneous information.
