- Applicants do not need to be based in Alberta or Canada.
- Projects must demonstrate benefits for Alberta.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by Alberta Innovates staff and external expert reviewers.
- Applications are assessed against program objectives and evaluation criteria.
- Some applicants may be asked to deliver a presentation to the review committee.
- Funding decisions are made by Alberta Innovates at its sole discretion.
- Approved applicants must sign an Investment Agreement before funding starts.
