Who is eligible?
- Non-profit arts and culture organizations legally incorporated in New Brunswick
- Cultural industries legally registered in New Brunswick, including craft entrepreneurs, literary publishers, media producers, and commercial galleries
- Organizations that receive funding from the Operational Support Program administered by artsnb, for activities not supported by their operational support grant
Who is not eligible
- Organizations or businesses whose primary mandate is not artistic or cultural in nature and/or which does not include a professional arts component
- Schools, universities, colleges, or organizations primarily associated therewith
- Recreational organizations
- Religious organizations
- Alumni associations and municipalities
Eligible expenses
- Wages or artist fees associated with the conception or delivery of the project, at minimum industry standard rates
- Coordination costs related to the project
- Consultant fees for business or strategic plan exercises
- Costs related to the development or production of new programming or services
- Costs related to professional development, networking, mentorship, and training activities, including participation in conferences and symposiums

- Costs associated with ongoing operational activities supported by the artsnb Operational Support Program grant

- Proposed activity’s alignment with government priorities with respect to the arts and culture sector
- Projects that respond to priority areas receive additional consideration and merits
How to apply

- New applicants must first create their user profile by clicking on the GUIDE Create your profile button
- The portal will email the username and password for the applicant to log into the system and access program guidelines and application forms
- Applicants must read the guidelines to ensure they are eligible to apply before creating an application
Processing and Agreement
- Grant recipients must submit a final report within 60 days following the completion of the project or by the end of the fiscal year, whichever comes first
- Notification of results will be provided within 90 days from the submission of the application
- Grant recipients must acknowledge the financial support of the Province of New Brunswick in all promotions of the project for which a grant is received
- Grant recipients are encouraged to promote the project on social media by tagging or using the hashtag #ArtsCultureNB
