Provides up to $1.2 million over four years to strengthen the Black entrepreneurship ecosystem in Canada’s North. Funding supports Black-led not-for-profit organizations delivering business services such as mentorship, networking, training, outreach, incubators and accelerators.

Have at least two-thirds of leadership and governance self-identify as Black.

Have the capacity and experience to deliver high-impact business support.

Incorporated Black-led not-for-profit organizations.

Who is not eligible

For-profit businesses (the Ecosystem Fund is for incorporated not-for-profit organizations).
Organizations that are not incorporated.
Not-for-profit organizations that are not Black-led.
Organizations located outside Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, or the Yukon.
