Overview
Provides up to $1.2 million over four years to strengthen the Black entrepreneurship ecosystem in Canada’s North. Funding supports Black-led not-for-profit organizations delivering business services such as mentorship, networking, training, outreach, incubators and accelerators.

Eligibility
- Be an incorporated Black-led not-for-profit organization.
- Have at least two-thirds of leadership and governance self-identify as Black.
- Have a mission, programming, and outcomes focused on supporting Black communities.
- Have the capacity and experience to deliver high-impact business support.
Who is eligible?
- Incorporated Black-led not-for-profit organizations.
Who is not eligible
- For-profit businesses (the Ecosystem Fund is for incorporated not-for-profit organizations).
- Organizations that are not incorporated.
- Not-for-profit organizations that are not Black-led.
- Organizations located outside Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, or the Yukon.
