Who is eligible?

  • Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
  • Canadian SMEs that are registered NRC IRAP clients

Eligible expenses

  • Economy travel fare associated with the mission
  • Per diem associated with the mission
  • Admission to the Swiss Biotech Day conference for one participant per selected company

Selection criteria

  • Preference may be given to SME applicants with a minimum of 10 full-time equivalent employees located in Canada.
  • Preference may be given to SME applicants that have commercialized 1 or more products internationally.
  • Preference may be given to SME applicants with more than $500,000 CAD in annual sales revenue.

  • Complete the expression of interest form provided to potentially eligible applicants.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed and result notification is scheduled for February 27, 2026.
  • Selected participants will be sent instructions and information about the support.
