Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Canadian SMEs.
  • Large Canadian companies may register to be considered as part of the Canadian delegation.

Who is not eligible

  • Large Canadian companies are not eligible for funding.

Eligible expenses

  • Travel costs associated with the mission, including economy travel fare and per diem.

Selection criteria

  • Preference may be given to SMEs with at least 10 full-time equivalent employees in Canada.
  • Preference may be given to SMEs that have commercialized one or more products internationally.
  • Preference may be given to SMEs with more than $500,000 CAD in annual sales revenue.
  • Preference may be given to SMEs that have reached technology readiness level 7 or greater.

How to apply

  • Register using the Register button at the bottom of the page.
  • Receive an expression of interest form.
  • Submit the expression of interest form with additional information about the applicant, organization, technology, and co-innovation opportunities of interest.

Processing and Agreement

  • Canadian SMEs selected by NRC IRAP will be invited to apply for funding.
  • Selected participants will receive instructions and information about the support.
