Who is eligible?

Selection criteria
- Scientific Merit (40%).
- Applicant Merit (60%).
- Final scores above 3.5 are required for both ratings.

- Step 2: Complete the full application

- Submit the application through EGrAMS before the deadline.

Processing and Agreement
- Any grant that may be awarded shall be administered in accordance with the Regulations set forth on the Canadian Cancer Society research website and is made only upon approval of the Canadian Cancer Society or CBCRA, as applicable.
- All grants are conditional upon availability of funds to the Canadian Cancer Society, and the Canadian Cancer Society reserves the right to terminate any grant at any time and without cause.
- Any proposed clinical investigation involving human subjects, human embryonic stem cells, experimental animals, biological materials, or human samples must be reviewed and found acceptable by the appropriate committees and meet the stated ethics, biosafety, and animal-care requirements.
- The host institution must maintain or develop a policy on inventions and patents that does not require the Canadian Cancer Society to assume any responsibility for costs, expenses, or liabilities.
- The host institution accepts responsibility for investigating possible instances of misconduct in research.
