Eligibility
- The applicant must be a profit-oriented small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) incorporated in Canada.
- The company must work on innovative technologies or solutions within the agricultural technology (Agtech) sector, including areas such as precision agriculture, IoT, AI analytics, agricultural biotechnology, or soil management.
- The applicant must have previous experience in or be working towards commercializing technology for domestic and/or international markets.
- The company must demonstrate the capacity and interest to pursue joint R&D collaborations with Brazilian partners, aiming for future commercialization.
- The SME must have sufficient working capital and human resources to undertake multi-year R&D collaboration and commercialize the results.

- Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Agricultural Technology (Agtech) sector
- Companies developing precision agriculture technologies (e.g., IoT sensors, AI analytics)
- Companies specializing in agricultural biotechnology (e.g., genetic engineering, microbial solutions)
- Companies offering biological solutions for agriculture (biopesticides, biofertilizers, biostimulants, microbial inoculants)
- Companies focused on soil management and analysis technologies

- Not-for-profit organizations are not eligible for financial support and can only participate as observers.
