Overview
The Canada Strong Diversification Fund is a new $2 billion stream of the Strategic Response Fund. Effective immediately, it is intended to support Canadian businesses affected by U.S. tariffs, including mid-sized firms, through shovel-ready projects that support continued capital investment. Regional development agencies will help receive and triage projects, and a fast one-step review and approval process is planned.
