Who is eligible?
- Organizations from Canada and Spain that wish to form project consortia
- Canadian SMEs that are eligible for funding as NRC IRAP clients
- Eligible Spanish companies
Selection criteria
- Preference may be given to SME applicants with a minimum of 15 full-time equivalent employees, at least 1 commercialized product domestically or internationally, and annual revenue greater than $500,000 CAD.
Processing and Agreement
- NRC IRAP will review Canadian registrations and contact applicants if more information is required.
- Qualifying Canadian applicants will proceed to the expression of interest phase.
- EOI forms will be evaluated by the applicant's NRC IRAP representative and the NRC IRAP International Office.
- Canadian ICPP applications will be evaluated by an NRC IRAP evaluation team, and only Canadian participants of selected project proposals will be invited to the final funding stage.
- Each national funding body will evaluate submitted applications independently before a final joint project selection is performed, and eligible project partners will complete funding proposals and sign legally binding funding agreements with their respective national funding body.
