- Activities that do not occur in confined beef cattle feeding operations
Eligible geographic areas
- Canada, except Alberta
Processing and Agreement
- ECCC reviews the account or project registration request and may approve, reject, or request more information.
- If approved, the project or aggregation is registered and becomes active in the system.
- If the request is incomplete, ECCC may ask for additional information through CATS or by email.
- If the project registration is approved, project name and description may be translated into the second official language before public listing.
Additional information
- Project registration is submitted through the Credit and Tracking System (CATS).
- A project registration application may be for a single project or an aggregation of projects.
- If confidentiality is requested, a completed Request for Confidentiality must be uploaded.
- The project report must be verified by an accredited verification body.
