How to apply
- Step 1: Choose application method
- Request a paper or online application from the Social Housing Registry.
- Select the paper form if you need help completing it or do not use email.
- Select the online form if you can complete electronic signatures within 24 hours.
- Step 2: Prepare supporting information
- Gather identification, income, rent, banking, and status information.
- Prepare Social Insurance Numbers for household members.
- Provide landlord information if the benefit should be paid directly to the landlord.
- Step 3: Submit the application
- Complete and submit the application with all required information.
- Submit all supporting documents together with the application.
- Step 4: Await review and decision
- Only completed applications are reviewed.
- Eligible recipients are contacted directly by the Ministry of Finance.
