  • The project must focus on mentorship, training, or professional development opportunities in the cultural or media sectors (television, digital media, screen industry, journalism, magazines, newspapers).
  • The applicant organization must operate in sectors eligible under the three streams: audiovisual, journalism, or periodical publishing.
  • The project must aim to foster inclusion, diversity, equity, or accessibility within Canada's media, culture, or audiovisual industry.

  • Companies and organizations in the television, digital media, screen industry, and cinematic production sectors
  • Organizations in the written press, community radio, community television, and online news service industries
  • Organizations in the magazine and (non-daily) community newspaper industries

  • Costs related to mentorship programs for diverse communities in the audiovisual, media, magazine, and newspaper industries.
