- Korean applicants: International Consortium Project Proposal Form completed in English containing signed signature pages, a well-developed but unsigned draft International Consortium Agreement written in English, and any additional documents as instructed by KIAT.

Who is eligible?
- Companies from Canada and Korea.
- Canadian incorporated, profit-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises with 500 or fewer full-time equivalent employees.
- Korean research and development-performing companies acting as the Korean Project Lead.
Who is not eligible
- Projects involving research and development of products, processes or technologies with military or non-peaceful applications.
Selection criteria
- KIAT and NRC IRAP independently evaluate each Full Project Proposal in accordance with their national/institutional laws and regulations.
- A proposal is selected only if both KIAT and NRC IRAP jointly decide to approve and fund it.
How to apply
- Canadian applicants must first register online to receive an Expression of Interest form.
- Canadian applicants must submit the Canadian Expression of Interest by March 15, 2019 at 19:00 EST.
- Canadian applicants invited to continue must submit the International Consortium Project Proposal by May 30, 2019 at 19:00 EST.
- Korean applicants must submit the International Consortium Project Proposal to KIAT by May 30, 2019 at 18:00 KST.
Processing and Agreement
- KIAT and NRC IRAP will independently evaluate each Full Project Proposal in accordance with their national/institutional laws and regulations.
- A proposal is selected only if both KIAT and NRC IRAP jointly decide to approve and fund it.
- Selected partners will be informed of the result and the amount of funding by their respective funding body by July 2019.
- They will then complete Contribution Agreements with their respective funding bodies.
- The release of funds, project monitoring, and reporting requirements will follow the terms of each organization's Contribution Agreement with its national funding body.
