How to apply
- Canadian applicants register using the Register button at the end of the page.
- Canadian applicants seeking funding submit an expression of interest form outlining basic information on the applicant and the collaborative project.
- Project partners work together to complete and submit the international consortium project proposal package to each implicated national funding body.
- Each German project partner files an individual ZIM application to AiF Projekt GmbH.
Processing and Agreement
- NRC IRAP reviews registrations and contacts applicants if more information is required.
- Qualifying Canadian applicants are invited to submit an expression of interest, which is evaluated by the applicant's NRC IRAP representative and the NRC IRAP International Office.
- Canadian ICPP applications are evaluated by an NRC IRAP evaluation team, and the amalgamated evaluation results are shared between all implicated national funding bodies.
- Each national funding body evaluates the submitted applications independently, and a final joint project selection is performed afterward.
- Eligible project partners complete funding proposals and sign legally binding funding agreements with their respective national funding body.
