Overview

The Canada Foundation for Innovation’s Northern Fund supports research infrastructure projects in Northern Canada that address regional and community priorities, with awards ranging from $250,000 up to a maximum CFI contribution of $2.5 million covering up to 50% of eligible costs. Eligible activities include the acquisition or development of research infrastructure by universities, colleges, research hospitals, and non-profit research institutions headquartered in Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Nunavik, or Nunatsiavut.
