- Complete the NOI in the Convergence Portal.
- Ensure the NOI is submitted by the deadline.
- Step 2: Prepare full application
- Complete the full application in the Convergence Portal.
- Include the required proposal information, partners, and supporting documents.
- Step 3: Submit full application
- Finalize and submit the application through the Convergence Portal.
- Submit by the posted deadline.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are first checked administratively for eligibility and compliance.
- Scientific and technical reviewers assess the proposal merit.
- A strategic review then assesses alignment with program objectives and the Strategy.
- Final funding decisions are made by the TIPS Steering Committee and the CFI Board of Directors for infrastructure components.
- Approved projects require an award agreement before funding is released.
