Who is eligible?
- Individuals.
- Taxable corporations and trusts.
- Non-profit organizations and registered charities.
- Partnerships, Indigenous government-owned corporations, registered Canadian amateur athletic associations, registered journalism organizations, and certain non-public colleges and schools.

- Public institutions.

- Commercial rent.
- Property taxes, including school and municipal taxes.
- Property insurance.
- Interest on commercial mortgages, subject to limits.

- GST/HST or other sales tax portions of eligible costs.
- Expenses for residential property used by the taxpayer.
- Payments between non-arm's-length entities.
- Mortgage interest for property mainly used to earn rental income from arm's-length entities.
