How to apply
- Canadian SMEs must register electronically using the Register button at the bottom of the page and provide basic applicant and organization information.
- Canadian SMEs seeking funding must submit an Expression of Interest form with basic information about the company and the collaborative project.
- All project partners must prepare and submit the Eureka project participation form online through the Eureka portal using the open call option.
- Each Canadian partner must submit the required NRC IRAP documents, including the Canadian SME form, the draft international consortium agreement, the signed research security attestation form and the cash flow projection.
Processing and Agreement
- Each national funding agency reviews applications independently under its own laws, regulations and procedures.
- After those reviews, a joint selection process is carried out for the collaborative projects.
- Only participants in selected proposals are invited to the final proposal to the national funding agency and, if approved, to the funding agreement stage.
- During the national proposal and agreement stage, eligible partners prepare their financing proposals, resolve due diligence requirements and sign legally binding funding agreements with their national agency; Canadian SMEs work with NRC IRAP to prepare the funding proposal and, if approved, ratify a contribution agreement.
- Self-funded participants must sign the self-funding declaration provided to them.
