Processing and Agreement
- Applications are first reviewed by CALQ program staff for eligibility and alignment with program objectives.
- Eligible applications are then evaluated by an advisory committee.
- The committee makes recommendations to the board of directors, which gives the final decision.
- Applicants are notified of the result by email or in writing, depending on how they submitted the application.
- If approved, the applicant receives a letter of announcement with the terms and conditions of the subsidy.

- Applications are reviewed by an advisory committee made up mainly of recognized Indigenous artists and cultural professionals.
- The CALQ may provide the general scoring comments for each evaluation criterion upon request after the results are announced.
