• Organizations whose support falls under SODEC or the Ministry of Culture and Communications
• Incomplete applications

• Project-related costs for carrying out the artistic project
• Direct expenses linked to project production and delivery

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Expenses already covered by another CALQ program or any other organization

Eligible geographic areas

• Quebec

• Artistic work quality: 40 points
• Project relevance and interest: 40 points
• Project management: 20 points
• Past achievements and artistic interest of the project are assessed
• Budget realism, delivery capacity, and eco-responsibility efforts are considered

• Step 1: Read the program guidelines
  • Review the eligibility section and application requirements.
  • Check the instructions and available forms before starting.
• Step 2: Complete the application package
  • Fill in the online forms in Mon dossier CALQ.
  • Prepare the project description, personal information form, and budget template.
• Step 3: Submit the application
  • Submit through Mon dossier CALQ.
  • If that channel is not available, send the file by WeTransfer using the instructions in the application form.
  • Applications cannot be sent by mail.
• Step 4: Receive confirmation and follow-up
  • Keep the email acknowledgment sent by CALQ.
  • Applicants using Mon dossier CALQ can track the application status online.

• Applications are first reviewed by CALQ program staff for eligibility and alignment with program objectives.
• Eligible applications are then evaluated by an advisory committee.
• The committee makes recommendations to the board of directors, which gives the final decision.
• Applicants are notified of the result by email or in writing, depending on how they submitted the application.
• If approved, the applicant receives a letter of announcement with the terms and conditions of the subsidy.

• Applications are reviewed by an advisory committee made up mainly of recognized Indigenous artists and cultural professionals.
• The CALQ may provide the general scoring comments for each evaluation criterion upon request after the results are announced.
• Some parts of the application can be submitted in writing or orally.
• The CALQ does not accept applications by mail.
