  • Organizations proposing primary care services such as treatment, therapy, or individual counselling
  • Projects focused on violence in institutions, gang violence, suicide, or self-harm
  • Projects seeking core funding for ongoing operations
  • Standalone activities not tied to a health promotion program or intervention

  • Projects focused on violence in institutions, gang violence, suicide, or self-harm.

How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare the letter of intent
    • Use PHAC's Letter of Intent template.
    • Outline the proposed project in summary form.
  • Step 2: Submit the letter of intent
    • Send the LOI by the stated deadline.
    • Submit using the required PHAC template.
  • Step 3: Await invitation
    • Only applicants whose LOIs best fit the opportunity are invited to continue.
  • Step 4: Submit full proposal if invited
    • Provide the full proposal at the second stage.
    • Demonstrate secured financial and in-kind contributions if requested.

Processing and Agreement

  • Letter of intent is reviewed first.
  • Only the best-fit LOIs are invited to submit a full proposal.
  • Incomplete, ineligible, or unsuccessful LOIs are not invited to continue.
  • Selected applicants must demonstrate secured contributions at the full proposal stage.
