Who is eligible?
- Businesses with an address in Sherbrooke registered with the Business Register (REQ) and operating in the territory of the City of Sherbrooke.
- Businesses operating in innovative manufacturing, quantum technologies, information technology, life sciences, micro-nanotechnologies or clean technologies.
Who is not eligible
- Businesses that have received a grant under Sherbrooke's PAESIT for less than 12 months.
Eligible expenses
- Professional fees, consulting services and studies related to the project.
- Salaries, employee benefits and subcontracting costs related to the project.
- Purchase or rental of goods, equipment and tangible assets, excluding asset transfers.
- Project-related operating costs, including laboratories, testing and supplies.
- Other expenses that may apply.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Projects made up solely of professional fees.
- Patent preparation and filing.
- Promotional tools, trade fairs and economic missions.
- Regular operating expenses; charitable activities or volunteer resources.
- Repayment of existing debts or loans; replacement of existing government support; expenses incurred before the application is submitted; portion of taxes (GST/QST) recoverable by the business.
