How to apply

  • Step 1: Submit the Letter of Intent
    • Complete the online Letter of Intent in the Max Bell Foundation portal.
    • Select the Youth Civic Engagement stream.
    • Submit by the stated deadline.
  • Step 2: Await invitation for full proposal
    • If the Letter of Intent is approved, you will be invited to submit a full proposal.
    • The full proposal deadline is January 15, 2026.
  • Step 3: Proposal review
    • Submitted proposals are reviewed through an internal and external review process.
  • Step 4: Funding decision
    • Successful applications are awarded in May 2026.
