How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare application

- Gather owner, site, and lighting system details.
- Log into myEM to start the application.
- Step 2: Submit application
- Complete and submit the online application.
- Applications may be submitted by the building owner or by a supplier on the owner’s behalf.
- Step 3: Wait for approval
- Efficiency Manitoba reviews the application.
- Receive approval by email before starting work.
- Step 4: Complete project and submit documents
- Purchase and install the lighting after approval.
- Submit completion documents in myEM.
- Step 5: Receive incentive
- Efficiency Manitoba reviews completion documents.
- The incentive is then issued to the indicated payee.
Processing and Agreement
- Application is reviewed by Efficiency Manitoba after submission.
- Approval is sent by email before work can begin.
- After installation, completion documents are reviewed.
- Incentive payment is issued after completion documents are verified.
Additional information
- Customer and supplier bonuses are available until March 31, 2027.
- Applications can be submitted online or by PDF form.
- A small business may qualify for enhanced incentives through the Small Business Program.
