Who is eligible?
- Psychology interns enrolled in one of the graduate-level psychology training programs determined by the regulations and offered by one of the following universities: University of Montreal, University of Quebec at Montreal, University of Sherbrooke, Laval University, University of Quebec in Outaouais, University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières, University of Quebec at Chicoutimi, Concordia University, McGill University, University of Quebec at Rimouski, and Bishop’s University.

- Students who are doing a stage rather than an internship.
- Internships completed only partly in an eligible public setting.

- Admission to an eligible psychology doctoral program.
- Commitment to complete the full internship in an eligible setting.
- Execution of the financial assistance agreement at the start of the internship.
How to apply
- Step 1: Confirm eligibility
- Check that the internship and program are eligible.
- Ensure the internship will be completed in an admissible setting.
- Step 2: Complete the agreement
- Sign the financial assistance agreement with your university.
- Have the agreement established at the beginning of the internship.
- Step 3: Receive scholarship payments
- Receive the first payment after the agreement is signed and the internship has begun.
- Receive the second payment halfway through the internship.
Processing and Agreement
- The universities are responsible for ensuring students’ eligibility, paying them the scholarships, and informing them of the scholarship program terms.
- Eligibility for the program is determined before the first payment and before the internship begins.
- A financial assistance agreement must be established between the person and their university at the start of the internship.
- Once a year, the university must send the Ministry the accountability report form for the year in question before the last business day of March.

- Universities are responsible for managing the program for students.
- Interns should contact their university psychology department for information during the internship.
- The program can be combined with other scholarships, subject to the rules of the other funder.
