Who is eligible?

  • Children and grandchildren of eligible Legion members
  • Spouses and dependants of eligible military personnel and veterans
  • Students in post-secondary institutions

Who is not eligible

  • Students in correspondence or distance education courses
  • Applicants receiving Manpower Training or similar government funding
  • Students who are not yet on campus if currently in high school

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by the Ontario Command office for eligibility.
  • Eligible applications are forwarded to the appropriate District Bursary Committee.
  • The District Committee makes the final recommendation and decision.
  • Successful applicants are notified by the Command Office.
  • Approved funds are paid by direct deposit after second-semester enrollment is confirmed.
