Who is eligible?
- Children and grandchildren of eligible Legion members
- Spouses and dependants of eligible military personnel and veterans
- Students in post-secondary institutions

- Students in correspondence or distance education courses
- Applicants receiving Manpower Training or similar government funding
- Students who are not yet on campus if currently in high school

How to apply
- Obtain the Legion Bursary Application Form from a secondary school guidance office, a post secondary education institution financial aid office, or the nearest Legion branch
- Apply for OSAP
- Complete the application in full with the required information, endorsements, and documents
- Submit the completed application online to bursary@on.legion.ca or send it to The Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command in Aurora, Ontario
- Faxed applications are not accepted
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by the Ontario Command office for eligibility.
- Eligible applications are forwarded to the appropriate District Bursary Committee.
- The District Committee makes the final recommendation and decision.
- Successful applicants are notified by the Command Office.
- Approved funds are paid by direct deposit after second-semester enrollment is confirmed.
