How to apply

  • Step 1: Complete the application
    • Fill out the bursary application form online.
    • Provide contact details, funding information, and a 250-word essay.
  • Step 2: Arrange the reference
    • Ask a teacher, principal, guidance counselor, supervisor, or mentor to complete the academic reference form.
    • Make sure the reference is submitted by the deadline.
  • Step 3: Submit before the deadline
    • Submit the student application by 29 May 2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
    • Ensure the reference form is received by 31 May 2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by judges and Justices of the Peace.
  • Recipients are selected in July.
  • Winners are contacted directly in mid-August.
  • A bursary agreement is not stated, but proof of enrollment in a justice-related program is required after selection.
