Who is eligible?
- Postdoctoral researchers
- Researchers in the physical, mathematical, computational, or engineering sciences
- Scientists working in biological research at nonprofit institutions
- U.S. and Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents
Who is not eligible
- Tenure-track faculty members
- Researchers already holding a comparable postdoc-to-faculty transition award
- Applicants based at federal facilities, except eligible NIH postdoctoral fellows
- Applicants without a PhD or with only an MD
- Applicants with more than one CASI application in the same cycle
