How to apply

  • Step 1: Review your project
    • Meet with City heritage staff to review your documents before applying.
  • Step 2: Prepare the application
    • Gather the required supporting materials for your heritage project.
  • Step 3: Submit the formal application
    • Submit your application at least two weeks before the Heritage Burlington Advisory Committee meeting.
  • Step 4: Committee review
    • The application is added to the committee agenda for review.
    • You are encouraged to attend the meeting to answer questions.
  • Step 5: Receive the decision
    • The City sends the result in writing.
