• Project or event costs
• Artistic and cultural programming expenses
• Materials and supplies for arts activities
• Equipment rental or purchase for events
• Marketing and promotion costs for funded activities

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• For-profit activities and commercial ventures
• Activities outside the City of Burlington
• Activities taking place outside the April to March funding period

• Alignment with program goals of social cohesion and quality of life enhancement
• Contribution to cultural and economic development
• Potential to enrich Burlington residents' experience with arts and culture
• Support for diverse identities, perspectives and artistic practices
• Capacity to deliver the proposed project or activity

• Step 3: Complete Application
  • Fill out the online application form with required information
  • Submit completed application before the deadline

• Applications are reviewed for eligibility
• Applications are assessed against program criteria and guidelines
• Applicants will be notified of funding decisions
• Successful applicants may be required to sign a funding agreement
• Final reports may be required after project completion

• Funding supports activities or events taking place from April to March
• Funding must be used to further applicant's not-for-profit activities
• The program recognizes and supports diverse identities, perspectives, languages, cultures and artistic practices
