This program offers up to $50,000 to support outdoor recreation infrastructure projects that promote active living and community engagement. Eligible activities include building or upgrading public outdoor gyms, skate parks, playgrounds, cycling paths, and outdoor rinks.
Activities funded
- Development of outdoor gyms, skate parks, playgrounds, cycling paths, and outdoor rinks.
Examples of admissible projects:
Developing an accessible outdoor gym to promote community health.
Building a scenic cycling corridor to promote outdoor activity.
