The program supports community projects that improve wellbeing in Brantford, with funding up to $15,000. Eligible activities include operational program costs, facility renovations or expansion and equipment needs, and new or annual community events aligned with City priorities.

Eligibility

  • The project must align with one or more priority areas of the City of Brantford’s Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan.
  • A minimum of 75% of people served by the project must be Brantford residents.
  • Applications must be submitted under the appropriate stream (Operational, Start-Up/Capital, or Event) based on the type of request.

  • Facility expansion or renovation costs for a facility owned by the applicant organization (Start-Up/Capital Stream).
  • Purchase, replacement, or repair of equipment required to start a new program or expand an existing program (Start-Up/Capital Stream).
  • Costs associated with delivering new or annual community events (Event Stream).
