- Property owners of hotels and motels within the CIP area.
- Property owners of commercial, institutional, and mixed-use buildings within the Central Business District.
- Tenants with written consent from the property owner.
Who is not eligible
- Tenants are not eligible to apply for a loan under any of the financial assistance programs.
Eligible expenses
- Restoration or replacement of brickwork, cladding, cornices, eaves, parapets, windows, doors, awnings, and exterior lighting.
- Façade cleaning and storefront or entrance redesign, including accessibility improvements.
- Other similar exterior façade repairs and improvements approved by the Town.

How to apply
- Prior to submitting an application, contact the Economic Development Officer for a pre-consultation via email or call 705-645-5264 ext. 3511.
- Apply using the Town’s application form.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications must be submitted to the Town and approved prior to commencing any project work.
- Funding approval will lapse if the Town is not notified of project completion within twelve (12) months of the date of the Notice of Decision.
- The Director of Planning and Development may grant an extension for community improvement works following receipt of a written request by the owner setting out the reasons for the extension.
