- Step 2: Application Form

- Step 3: Staff Review and Council Consideration
- Staff review the application based on the program criteria.
- Recommendations are presented to Council through annual budget deliberations.
- Step 4: Decision and Agreement
- Receive the approval or decline notice from staff.
- If approved, execute the Event Tourism Grant Agreement.
- Step 5: Post-Approval Requirements
- Complete the event evaluation after the event.
- Carry out the media release or photo opportunity with the Mayor and event organizer.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by staff against program criteria.
- Staff make recommendations to Council during annual budget deliberations.
- Applicants are notified of approval or decline by staff.
- An Event Tourism Grant Agreement must be executed if approved.
- An event evaluation is completed after the event.
