Eligibility

The applicant must be aged between 18 and 49 years as of December 31 of the application year.
The applicant must be an owner or co-owner of a business in which at least 30% of voting shares are held by individuals aged 18 to 40 for a maximum of 15 years.
The applicant must possess a recognized academic qualification (AEC, DEP, DEC, bachelor’s degree), an equivalent, or be enrolled in a training program in progress. Five years of agricultural work experience may also be acceptable.
The project must either improve the technical and financial efficiency of a dairy business or relate to the start-up or acquisition of a dairy enterprise.
