Book Publishers Operations Grant Updated
The Book and Periodical Publishers Operational Support Program now shows a July 15, 2026 deadline and replaces the prior closed-intake notice with the 2026 program guidelines. Eligibility is now much more specific, including requirements for a New Brunswick head office, at least one year of incorporation and operation, year-round staffing, professional editorial and distribution practices, at least three eligible titles in the last fiscal year, and positive net assets for new applicants. Application instructions now direct applicants to review the program guidelines, create a profile in the Arts Culture NB Portal, and then complete the application through the portal. Funding terms also changed materially: returning applicants are guaranteed a base amount equal to 80% of the previous cycle’s approved funding, while new applicants are not guaranteed a base amount.
