Overview
Selected organizations receive up to $20,000 to support charitable purposes, operations, and programs. The program also provides coaching and mandatory nonprofit management training to build organizational capacity in priority community areas.

- Be a Black-led, Black-focused, and Black-serving organization.
- Be a registered Canadian nonprofit organization or charitable organization.
- Have an existing project in the priority areas that meets the program criteria, or a proposed project for which funding has already been secured.

Selection criteria

Additional information
- Selected organizations participate in an 8-month capacity-building program delivered by the Black Canadian Fundraisers Collective (BCFC).
- Participants receive coaching support from certified professional Black coaches.
- Participants must complete mandatory training in key areas of nonprofit management.
- The program requires approximately 4.5 hours per week (about 35 hours per month), totaling 75 hours of content.
