Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • For-profit and non-profit entities.
  • Government organizations, except federal and provincial government organizations.
  • Non-governmental organizations.
  • Universities, colleges, and research institutions located in Ontario.
  • Organizations in the agriculture, agri-food, or agro-industrial products sectors, including technology and equipment suppliers.

Who is not eligible

  • Federal government organizations and provincial government organizations.

Eligible expenses

  • Internal labour costs for employees.
  • Consultants and professional service providers.
  • Equipment.
  • Consumables.
  • Travel and other direct and indirect project costs.

How to apply

  • Follow the instructions in the proposal form in the Tools and Templates section.
  • Complete the required documents; submissions by email, mail, in person, and fax are not accepted.

Processing and Agreement

  • Selected and unsuccessful proposals will be notified in winter 2026.

  • This initiative is funded by the governments of Canada and Ontario through the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership, a five-year federal-provincial-territorial initiative.
