Eligibility

Who is eligible?

How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare quarterly application
    • Complete the minister-approved form.
    • Gather required production, inventory, and sales information.
  • Step 2: Submit to the minister
    • Send the application for the relevant quarter to the minister.
    • File it within 30 days after the quarter ends.
  • Step 3: Continue quarterly filings
    • Keep submitting applications for each successive quarter in the 12-month period.
    • Include the required information even if no qualifying litres were sold.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by the minister
  • Late applications may be carried into a later quarterly application
  • Funding may be adjusted if quarterly limits are exceeded
  • Overpayments must be repaid as a debt due to government

  • The program applies only during the period from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2015.
  • Eligible persons must keep records for at least seven years.
  • Late applications may be added to a later quarterly application within the same 12-month period.
