- Applicants not in good standing with the New Brunswick Cattle Producers Association

- Retained bred heifers above the usual 5% replacement rate

- Retained bred heifers that are not confirmed pregnant
- Heifers below the eligible threshold above 5% of mature cow numbers
Selection criteria
- Projects assessed to demonstrate benefits and impacts to more than one province may be eligible for funding on a regional basis
How to apply
- Discuss applications with appropriate Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries staff before applying.
- Submit completed applications by e-mail or mail.
Processing and Agreement
- Applicants may be required to report on the impact of the funding received, and reporting requirements will be outlined in the letter of offer.
- The applicant consents to the disclosure of contact and project information to Canada and New Brunswick, and to the publication of the amount of funding received under Sustainable CAP.
